The Italian company Parlapiano Fruit will export oranges from Robera (Sicily) to Russia. Market research in Moscow showed a positive result. Parlapiano Fruit have specialised in the production and sale of oranges from Ribera with the trade name 'Riberella BOB'.
"From 2011 a regular supply to this country will be started thanks to a Russian partner. Russia is a big market for Sicilian oranges, especially the orange from Ribera, which is the only orange with the 'Protectede Origin Name (BOB)' as per Paolo Parlapiano.
